Continuing my series of posters for a Netflix subscription with Caged!
Movie synopsis: Frightened 19 year old Marie Allen (Parker) gets unjustly sent to an Illinois penitentiary for being an accomplice in an armed robbery. A sympathetic prison head (Moorehead) tries to help, but her efforts are subverted by cruel matron Evelyn Harper. Marie's harsh experiences turn her from doe-eyed innocent to hard-nosed con.
Well acted, thought provoking and engaging although the prison seems tame by today's standards it still resonates a meaningful story on the corruption of innocence. You'll have to watch the film to get the fork reference. ^_^ 3/5 stars
